STORELY
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 July 2026
This website, storely.filotimocreations.com, is the home of Storely, an e-commerce platform operated from the United Kingdom by Filotimo Creations. You can contact us at [email protected].
This policy covers two things: what this website collects about its visitors (very little), and how the platform handles personal data when it powers a store.
This website: the short version
This site collects no personal data. It is a static informational website: there are no user accounts, no forms, no cookies, and no analytics or tracking of any kind.
Server logs
Like almost every website, the server that hosts this site keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps). We use these only to keep the site secure and running, on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating it, and they are deleted routinely. They are never used to identify or profile visitors.
If you email us
If you choose to email us, we will have your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, and keep the correspondence no longer than needed to handle it.
Stores built on our platform
Storely provides the software behind independent online stores, each running on its own domain. The store you shop at — not Storely — decides what personal data is collected and why: the store is the data controller, and its own privacy policy, published on its website, explains how your information is handled.
Filotimo Creations acts as each store's data processor. On the store's instructions, and for no other purpose, we:
- host the store's data — order details (including any customisation you enter), account details (your email address and a securely hashed password, plus any shipping address you save), and messages sent through the store's contact form;
- send the store's transactional email — order confirmations, dispatch notifications, and refund notices — always from the store's own domain;
- keep a suppression list of addresses whose email hard-bounces or triggers a spam complaint, so stores stop emailing them.
Card details never reach our servers: payments go directly to Stripe, and we hold only the confirmation of payment and the order amount. We do not use shoppers' data for our own purposes, we run no advertising or analytics on stores, and we never sell personal data.
Service providers we rely on
The platform uses a small number of providers, each only for the purpose named here:
- Amazon Web Services — its Simple Email Service (SES) delivers stores' transactional email.
- Stripe — payment processing. Card details go directly from the shopper to Stripe and never pass through our servers.
- Cloudflare — routes and caches traffic in front of our servers and protects the platform against attacks.
These providers cannot use personal data for their own purposes. Where one processes data outside the UK, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
To exercise your rights over data a store holds — access, correction, erasure, and the rest — contact the store: as the controller, its privacy policy tells you how. We give every store what it needs to honour those requests, and if you contact us directly we will pass your request on to the store without delay.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over personal data we hold about you as a controller — access, correction, erasure, and others. Given how little this website collects, exercising them will rarely be needed, but you can always contact us at [email protected], and you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we have mishandled your data.
Changes
If how we handle personal data changes — on this website or in the platform's role as processor — we will update this policy and the date at the top.
